Telos Swaps v3 Launch

T-Swaps v3 mainnet launch is scheduled to start at 7am UTC on Monday, 7 February 2022. Liquidity migration will happen over a course of 3 days. Expect the website and smart contracts to be disabled during this time.

Features included in this launch

• New user interface: T-Swaps has been improved and redesigned to give you a seamless experience across key Telos dApps.
• Wombat support: You can now use your Wombat wallet to connect and transact.
• Self-listing: You can now list any native Telos token pair.
• Uniswap and Curve protocol pairs: You will have the option of choosing between the Bancor (Uniswap) or Curve algorithm during pool creation. Curve improves price stability for highly correlated pairs such as stable coins.
• Bridge: You now have access to a token bridge between Telos, EOS and WAX.

The new smart contracts and upgraded interface will be launched in a rolling release to allow stable migration. We will start with the standard set of features for the initial launch and add more based on our roadmap.

How will the launch affect users?

• T-Swaps will be offline for the migration from version 2 to version 3.
• The migration is scheduled to happen over 3 days.
• Expect all v2 contracts to be frozen when we start the migration — this is to block all transactions for security purposes.
• Any dapps or trading bots making use of the existing T-Swaps contracts will need to be modified to use new contracts and routing memos when version 3 is launched

What about the liquidity tokens?

Once the new system is up and running, a snapshot of the v2 liquidity pools will be taken. The v3 liquidity tokens will then be airdropped to all accounts that hold v2 liquidity tokens at the time of the snapshot. Note that the v3 liquidity tokens are derived from upgraded swap pool algorithms. The token ticker and number of liquidity tokens that you receive from the airdrop may differ, but the size of your holding relative to the pool remains the same. Expect this airdrop to happen by 14 February 2022.
